Matlock Town is pleased to announce the signing of twenty year old striker Anthony O’Neil Dwyer from Stafford Rangers.

Known as ‘Neilo’ by his team-mates, Dwyer began his career with Mansfield Town signing a professional deal with them in 2015 but would find his first limited first team opportunities and go on to have loan spells in that season with Mickleover Sports and Carlton Town.

Come the beginning of the 2016/2017 season and a release from the Stags, Dwyer would make the move to Ilkeston FC where he would score five goals and grab numerous of notable assists before making the move to Stafford Rangers in November and has now decided to make DCJ Group Insurance Arena his new home.
