The friends and family of Wayne Partridge have arranged a charity football game on Sunday 20th November at the DCJ Group Insurance Arena – 2.00pm kick off.

Wayne is a keen sports fan especially football and The Wayne Partridge Foundation has arranged a football match involving a team of local footballing legends from Matlock Town FC versus an ‘All-stars’ Team.

The teams will include ex Chesterfield Legends Bob Newton, Jamie Hewitt, Gareth Davies and Steve Norris as well as current Matlock Town managers Hoppo and Kirky, James “Mr Matlock” Lukic, Rockie White and Steve Taylor. A number of other ex-professional footballers will also be turning out including Pablo Mills (ex Derby County), Wayne’s Cousin Scott Partridge (ex Bradford, Brentford and Torquay) and Steve Robinson (ex Birmingham)

Entry on the day will be free however the Wayne Partridge Foundation would ask that people make a small donation if they can afford to do so.

Other activities on the day include arts and crafts and face painting for the children, as well as a raffle with prizes including signed shirts, footballs, football tickets, a tablet PC, restaurant vouchers from Einsteins, Casa and Chesters and many more.
