A lucrative, new sponsorship deal has been signed by Matlock Town Football Club’s academy team.

Tansley firm Mobile Visual Information Systems (MVIS), who are a provider of temporary solutions for transport systems, are backing the young team.

Anne Ashman, the general manager of the company, who are based on the Brookfield Industrial Estate, said: “We are delighted to be able to share our success with the local community and support Matlock Town.” The team’s football development manager, Steve Heath, said: “We are very grateful to MVIS for their support of the academy’s work to nurture young footballing talent in Matlock.” The young Gladiators play in the Northern Premier League’s Youth Academy League and currently sit in third place.
