After “that” goal

Thank you for joining us today for this interview Massiah, you’ve recently agreed a deal to join the club permanently but what was it that made you decide that Matlock Town is the club for you ?

The Manager! Mark Atkins is a great Manager i honestly believe that he is the manager who can help me progress since I’ve been here he’s showed me so much respect & he has given me that confidence that i was lacking while i was at Worksop i’m playing every week in my natural position & i’m scoring goals!

What a way to start as well, notching against Mansfield Town must’ve being a dream start to your time as fully fledged Matlock Town player, you must be over the moon right now.

I’m happy that i’ve come here & hit the ground running. To score a goal in some dramatic fashion against Mansfield Town in the dying seconds of the game was fantastic you could see how much it meant to the fans players & Management.

When you score a goal like that in such a high tension match, do you plan what you are going to do with the ball before hand or is it down to pure adrenaline of the moment ?

It comes naturally theirs no plan it all just falls into place there & then

Do you have a message you’d like to send out to the fans as we conclude this interview ?

Id like to thank The support from the fans that we had at the two Mansfield games that atmosphere was phenomenal if we can get that support every week home & away especially at home that would be great Matlock are a great team to watch so everyone in the Derbyshire area get down to Causeway Lane and show your support when ever you can ” Every little helps”
