PAUL RILEY
Paul is a former Notts County midfielder who joined the Gladiators following his release by Ilkeston Town in November 2004/ having earlier had a short spell with Alfreton Town. Equally adept at either left bak or on the left side of midfield, Paul shows a refreshing ability to take players on and has weighed in with a few useful goals. |

STEVE CIRCUIT
Highly rated utility player who can operate as a right back, sweeper or play anywhere across the midfield. Steve joined the Gladiators on loan from Alfreton Town in November 2003, having played previously at Boston United and Gainsborough Trinity. Began his career at Sheffield United, now a fireman in South Yorkshire. |

STEVE WARNE
Former Chesterfield midfielder Steve is back with Matlock for a second spell, having joined on loan for a month at the end of the 2003/04 season. After being released by the Spireites, Steve moved to Hucknall Town but was released by the Blue Square North club to make a permanent move to Matlock. Last season proved to be his best with the Gladiators so far, being named as runner up in the supporters player of the year poll. |

GARY WEBSTER
Gary has progressed from the under 19 squad and can play as either a striker or on the right of the midfield. He has now established himself as a vital cog in the Gladiators' line up. |

NEIL ASHLEY
Midfielder formerly with Glapwell and Belper Town who was part of the Frickley Athletic side who finished as UniBond League Premier Division runners up to Blyth Spartans in 2005/06. Neil joined the Gladiators from Grantham Town in March 2007. |
