Matlock Town FC are pleased to announce the signing of twenty four year old St Kitts and Nevis international striker Zephaniah “Zeph” Thomas from Scarborough Athletic.

Zeph began his career at Rotherham United as a youth before having spells at numerous clubs including Garden City Broncbusters (USA),, Montgnee (Belgium), Cowdenbeath (Scotland), Thunder Bay Chill (USA) before finding a home at Sheffield FC in the 2013/2014 season where he’d go on to score thirteen goals for the oldest club in the world which would earn him a move to Mickleover Sports where he’d score a further five goals to finish the season on eighteen goals in the Evo Stik First Division South before spending pre season of 2014/2015 with Scarborough Athletic.

Thomas made his St Kits and Nevis debut in 2012 where he’d go on to play two games in the Caribbean Cup for the Sugar Boyz against Anguilla and Trinidad and Tobago.
