53rd Sportsmans Dinner - Thursday 10th October 2019

We are pleased to announce our 53rd Sportsman’s Dinner, which will take place at the home of Matlock Town Football Club; the Proctor Cars Stadium, Causeway Lane on Thursday, October 10th

Our main speaker at this dinner is Mickey Quinn the renowned striker who is best known for playing for Newcastle United and Coventry City. Throughout his career, he played 524 games scoring 235 goals. After retirement, he became a successful racehorse trainer at Newmarket. He is now a regular presenter on Talk Sport where many of you will have heard him doing a cracking job. He comes highly recommended by my contacts in the business so we expect an excellent evening

Joining Mickey is comedian John Gallen who comes with a fantastic reputation on the after-dinner circuit. John has established himself as one of the most in-demand performers around and comes with a professional standard of entertainment which will transform any function.

We hope you will support the club on this occasion and the evening provides an excellent opportunity for many local businesses to entertain their clients.

Tickets are priced at £40+VAT each, which includes a three-course meal and coffee.

Tables of 9 are available but should you require a larger table or single seats this can be arranged. The evening starts at 7.00- 7.30pm. The last dinner was the fifty-second at The Shorts Lounge which was another excellent night with Paul Merson as the speaker.
