An energetic and skilful winger, Alex joined Matlock in March 2020, playing three games before the Covid-19 outbreak which curtailed the 2019/20 campaign. He began the 2019/20 season at Warrington Town but signed for Buxton during the autumn. He had previously long been a thorn in Matlock’s side turning in match winning performances for Shaw Lane and Gainsborough Trinity, his pin point crosses leading to vital goals. He joined Warrington from Gainsborough at the start of the 2019/20 season.
