Anthony joined Matlock for a second spell in October 2023 after having a brief time with Matlock during the 2016/17 campaign. He originally joined Matlock from Stafford Rangers after his release by Mansfield Town. Since then he has played for a host of clubs in the National league North and Northern and Southern Premier Leagues, being top scorer at Nuneaton in 2021.22 and Basford United in 2022/23. During the summer of 2023 he moved to Alfreton Town but has been on loan at Sheffield FC before he made the move to the Proctor Cars Stadium.
