Elliott calls Saul as he adds to his Gladiators squad

Matlock Town have added another new face to their squad ahead of tomorrow night’s Derbyshire Senior Cup clash with Buxton.
22 years old defensive midfielder Saul Milovanovic has signed on the dotted line now international clearance has been confirmed following his spell playing in New Zealand for Miramar Rangers.
Milovanovic began his career at Huddersfield Town playing in the Terriers’ under 18’s before he moved to Norwich City and was in the Canaries’ under 21 squad.
His non league career started when he joined National League North Kettering Town in December 2021 before his move to New Zealand.
Matlock boss Craig Elliott says Milovanovic’s distribution skills should add extra quality to the squad.
“Saul’s a player I had on trial at Boston United a few years ago. Technically he’s a very good passer of the ball and after a spell in New Zealand I’m hoping he can show his quality for us.”
