Gladiators appoint new Sports Therapist as Gleave moves on to new journey

Matlock Town is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Roberts as our new Sports Therapist.
Sarah has previous experience in the role at Belper Town, Holbrook Sports and most recently Heanor Town.
She has previously herself played for Derby County, Nottingham Forrest, Mansfield Town and most recently Ollerton Town Ladies.
On her appointment, she said the following, "I’m close to Matlock and always knew how good the club is, I chose Matlock as I want to progress in my career & I feel like this is the best place to start the progression. I've loved my time at Heanor and leave with great memories but it’s time for me to progress in myself. "
We can also confirm the departure of Sports Therapist Jack Gleave who had a short spell at the club during the curtailed season, Jack who was a big part of the injury rehab of Nathan Whitehead and Craig King, is set to take up a new post outside of the sport and we wish him all the best in the future and thank him for his time with us.
