Gladiators chairman blown away as JustGiving donations keep climbing

On the day that the Gladiators should be preparing to host Lancaster City at home, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to be felt far and wide with Non-league teams taking a big hit due to a lack of matchday income.

One month ago to this day, the Gladiators set up a JustGiving page with the total set at £15,000, it looked initially to be a pipedream but at the time of writing the Gladiators stand at £11,285 and are well on their way towards their ultimate goal thanks to the kind-heartedness of not only the Gladiators fan base but football fans from all over the world, a kindness that has blown away Chairman Tom Wright

"James (Griffiths) set out a big target when he started the page and to see where the total is now is simply incredible and I'm overwhelmed at the generosity of not only our own fan base but of football fans worldwide along with a few famous faces who have taken us to heart and I want to thank everybody who has donated or shared the page for all the goodwill shown to us.
