Gladiators staff undertake monumental challenge to raise money for MTFC & NHS

Here is a message from coach Dave Wild

"Hello everyone - firstly I do really appreciate that money is tight at the moment for everyone in the world so please don’t feel obliged to help! The staff at Matlock Town are going to be cycling 875 miles (Lands End to John o’Groats - equivalents not actual route due to Covid-19) to raise money for the football club as we are losing valuable revenue from cancellation of the season - on top of this percentage of the raised funds will be going to the NHS!

Literally anything at all will help even £1! Really appreciate it and sorry to ask especially on a Sunday !!"

This is separate from the clubs own personal appeal and is something that the management staff (Paul Phillips, Dave Wild, Brian Wilson, Liam Hudson, Mark Mullins, Hanson Stevens, Dave Noble, Ste Shuttleworth and Brian Entwhistle) wish to do to give back to the club as well as the NHS and it is a fantastically kind gesture.
