Matlock Town Chairman welcomes launch of Gladiators Lotto

As Matlock Town FC launch the new Gladiators Lotto, chairman Jay Beaumont welcomed the new initiative and spoke about how it will help drive the club forwards.
“Our goal is to become an integral part of our local community, in particular supporting sporting development in the area, which means success for our club is about much more than having a successful men’s first team.”, said Jay, adding, “we already have a junior set up for both boys and girls team, this last years has seen the launch of our Ladies teams.”
“Additionally, we’re seeking partnerships with local teams both higher up and lower down the football pyramid, offering a structured player and coaching development pathway, such as those we have with Chesterfield FC and Wirksworth Ivanhoe.”
“We hope to have this centred around our stadium on Causeway Lane, making it more accessible for both sporting and non-sporting events. To that end, we know we need to improve the facilities here, to make the matchday experience a better one for all members of the family, whether you’re a football superfan or simply enjoy the social side of football’
“We’ve taken the decision that all funds generated from the Lotto will be used exclusively for community and infrastructure projects, ensuring that the club can re-invest meaningfully in our community and help realise this goal”
“As the fund builds, we’ll keep everyone posted about our investments and the difference it will make to our club and our community”
The inaugural Gladiators Lotto draw is on Wednesday November 30th, each line is £1, with a chance of a share of the launch jackpot of £500 , just click here to pick your 4 numbers. Draws are weekly thereafter.
