PITCH INSPECTION | MTFC Vs South Shields - 17.1.23

The Proctor Cars Stadium pitch will undergo a 12 noon pitch inspection tomorrow ahead of the Gladiators scheduled home meeting with league leaders South Shields.

With the forecast being for freezing temperatures, the check has been organised to try and prevent South Shields making a long and wasted journey down to Derbyshire.

The fixture has already been postponed twice. Shields were in FA Cup First Round action against Forest Green Rovers on November 5 and then Matlock were allocated a Derbyshire Senior Cup tie at home to Buxton on the rearranged 6 December slot.

The result of the inspection is expected to be made public at approximately 12.30 pm.
