POSTPONED | MTFC Vs Marine AFC - Pitching In NPL - 14.3.23

The mad March weather has made its mark with the postponement of Matlock Town’s home meeting with Marine tonight.

The Proctor Cars Stadium pitch has been battered with snow and heavy rain during the past few days and with further rain forecast after the 12 noon inspection, the decision was made to call the game off.

It is the third time that Marine’s scheduled visit to Matlock has been put off. In November both sides had FA Trophy ties while the weather accounted for the rearranged date back in January.

The sides have yet to meet this season. Discussions are taking place about a new date for the home fixture with Matlock travelling to Merseyside on the final day of the league season.

The Gladiators are next in action on Saturday when they visit Marske United,
