Qualter takes the captains armband to lead the Gladiators in to the 22/23 season

Matlock Town can confirm that following the departure of current Gladiators captain Liam Hughes, Manager Paul Phillips has handed the armband to fan favourite and defensive dynamo Ryan Qualter

Qualter who won the Supporters Player Of The Year was an ever-present in a backline for the Gladiators that conceded the least goals in the Pitching In Northern Premier League last season and the decision is sure to be a popular one with the Gladiators fan base.
