Shorts Lounge to host Christmas dinner for second year running

Matlock Town FC is pleased to announce that for the second year running, we will be hosting a free Christmas dinner on for the elderly and lonely.

We believe that nobody should spend Christmas Day alone and the day will be an opportunity for people to meet new friends, socialise and join in the festivities.

It will take place at Matlock Town Football Club on December 25 and include a three-course meal, coffee and mince pies. There will also be a raffle, bingo and singing.

Free transport is available to the football club if required.

This event is run once again by our vice-chairman/hospitality manager Bryn Apperley and his hearty band of volunteers without whom this would not be possible.
