Loanee Moore returns to Derby County

Derby County have recalled loanee Callum Moore who had his loan period at Matlock extended just a fortnight ago.

The 19-year-old, who can operate as either a right-back or winger, has not started a game in his month-and-a-half at the Proctor Cars Stadium, with limited minutes from the bench.

Matlock boss Martin Carruthers acknowledges that Moore needs to play more games to aid his development.

He said: “A big thank you to Callum and also to Derby County for allowing him to join us at short notice.

"Callum needs to get some game time and he was unfortunate not to get enough opportunities during his time with us. He’s a fantastic lad and we wish him all the best for the future.”
