Ayers arrives from Millers on loan

Matlock Town are pleased to announce the loan signing of 19-year-old forward Josh Ayers from Rotherham United Football Club until the end of the season, subject to NPL and FA approval.

Josh, who has come through the Rotherham United U18s, has had loan spells this season with Buxton FC and most recently Sheffield FC, where he scored eight times in 14 games before he was recalled by the Millers.

Josh will be available for the game against Basford United a week tomorrow after the signing happened after the registration deadline for tomorrow's game.
