Essien agrees new contract with the Gladiators

Matlock Town are pleased to announce that popular midfielder Sam Essien has signed a contract until the end of next season, with the option to extend another year beyond that.

Sam has featured 14 times for the Gladiators since joining in the summer, with the young midfield quickly becoming a fan favourite for his all-action performances in the middle of the park.
