Five depart Gladiators as Cresswell rebuild begins

Matlock Town can confirm that following discussions with management, the following players will be departing the club: Danny Benson, Charlie Wood, Liam Hardy and Mason Booth. We thank all four players for their time and efforts while with the Gladiators and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

We can also confirm that midfielder Benni Ndlovu will be joining Sheffield FC on loan, Ndlovu for the rest of the season, the deal includes a 28-day recall option. We wish Benni all the best as he joins up with his new teammates.
