Gladiators confirm friendly with Stags

Matlock Town will welcome League One side Mansfield Town to the Proctor Cars Stadium for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, August 6, kick-off 7.45pm.

Nigel Clough's men secured promotion last season by finishing third in League Two, and will begin their new campaign just days after the clash with the Gladiators.

Last summer, Stags ran out 4-2 winners when the sides last met, with a crowd of 1,222 in attendance.

Tickets are now on sale for this year's encounter, with fans having until 7pm on Monday, June 10 to take advantage of a reduced price of £10 for adults and £7 concessions. After that, prices will be £12 for adults and £8 concessions, which will also be the price on the gate.
