Gladiators DSC tie against Mickleover given date

Matlock Town's Derbyshire Senior Cup quarter final at home to Southern League Premier Central league leaders Mickleover will take place on Tuesday 16 January.

The date was fixed after discussions with the Derbyshire FA and Mickleover with the Gladiators already having a league game at home to Macclesfield on the midweek set aside for the tie.

With Mickleover having a fine season in the Southern League and Matlock just outside the play off positions in the Northern Premier, this is very much the tie of the round. Normal league admission prices will apply for the tie in an all pay fixture.

The three other games see holders Buxton at home to Derby County under 21's in a repeat of last season's final, Gresley travelling to Long Eaton United after knocking out Ilkeston Town in the last round, and finally Heanor Town, fresh from their penalty shoot out victory at home to Alfreton Town after a 0-0 draw, entertain Glossop North End.
