Gladiators unveil new home kit and shirt sponsors!

Matlock Town can reveal their new home kit and shirt sponsor for season 2023/ 24.

The new sponsor is Orderly, a local company with a global team and reach who specialise in producing technology for sustainable store and supply chains in the food and beverage sector. Founded in 2008 by local entrepreneur David Hall, Orderly is now a certified B-Corp, demonstrating a commitment to social and environmental responsibility alongside business success. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, Orderly strives to create cutting edge solutions while giving back to the community and reduce global food waste.

Orderly’s Chief Executive Peter Evans says his company is looking forward to backing the Gladiators who have become a focal part of the local community.

“At Orderly we’ve always believed in giving back to our community and promoting sustainable growth. We’re delighted to support Matlock Town as their main shirt sponsor and we look forward to the exciting journey ahead. As two organisations with deep roots in Derbyshire, we’re hopeful that this partnership will not only bring success on the pitch but also help foster a sense of unity and pride within our local community. As the main shirt sponsor, we at Orderly are excited to support the club which has long been an important part of the local community. The partnership not only unites two Derbyshire grown organisations, but also highlights our shared values of promoting positive social and environmental impact”.

Graham Mumby from Matlock Town was equally enthusiastic with the deal having known the company’s founder for over thirty years.

“Having spoken to Orderly last year and secured a shirt sponsorship for Matlock Town Junior Girls, I have been in contact with them informing them of the girls’ progress. When the opportunity arose to sponsor the first team’s home shirt for the next two years, I approached Orderly and they were delighted to take up the offer. We’re thrilled to have them on board and look forward to a long and successful relationship with them where we continue to drive benefits for our local community. I’ve known the founder of the company now for over thirty years and he’s excited to visit the club next season with a greater level of interest having been many times last season and seen the club progress.”

Matlock have again asked their junior players to submit designs for the new kit and six years old Olivia Shipp’s version was chosen to be worn by the Gladiators first team.

Chairman Jay Beaumont said the club had received many entries from their youngsters.

“Over recent weeks we’ve received a lot of fantastic designs and we whittled them down to a shortlist where the first team players and management selected their favourite. The winning design was submitted by six years old Olivia Shipp and I think you’ll agree with me that it’s a cracker.”

The club is to update fans on when the new kit will be available to purchase in due course.
