Keeper Alexander signs from Kettering Town

Matlock Town are pleased to announce the signing of 28-year-old goalkeeper Jason Alexander from Kettering Town subject to NPL and FA approval.

The 6ft 6 shot stopper started his career at Chesterfield and later moved to Boston United - initially with the U21s - before he stepped up to senior level and made his debut against Solihull Moors.

Moves to Clipstone, Worksop Town, Loughborough Dynamo, Corby Town, Basford United and Belper Town followed later in his career.

Jason joined Kettering Town in September 2024 and went on to put in standout performances as part of the Poppies' Emirates FA Cup exploits.
