Rimmo joins as Cresswell's assistant manager

Matlock Town are pleased to announce Jonathan Rimmington as the club's new assistant manager.

Jonathan recently departed Liversedge FC where he spent over a decade as their manager, taking the Sedge from the Northern Counties East Football League at step six to the Northern Premier League at step three, their highest ever placement in the English football pyramid on a journey that took in league and cup glory.

Known to most as 'Rimmo', a proud family man with a big personality and love of the game, we look forward to welcoming Jonathan and his family to the Proctor Cars Stadium.

Following talks with manager Ryan Cresswell, defender Shaun Brisley has decided to step back from his coaching duties and return to the Gladiators playing squad. We thank Bris for stepping up alongside coach James Holmes and helping out during a difficult time for the club.
