Wright heads out to Long Eaton on loan

Matlock Town midfielder Andrew Wright is being loaned out to Long Eaton United.

Wright, who signed for the Gladiators for a third time during the summer has recently found it difficult to break into the starting eleven and has found himself on the substitutes bench.

Matlock boss Martin Carruthers understands Wright's position and it is felt that this move is the best for all parties at the current time.

"Wrighty's a good player but can't get a regular place with us at present. We fully understand that he needs to be playing regularly and he'll get that chance at Long Eaton. His attitude has been first class and we can recall him at any point should the need arise. We all wish him the very best in his spell at Long Eaton."

Wright could make his debut for the Southern League Central Premier strugglers at Royston Town tomorrow.
