Gladiators Emirates FA Cup Prelim tie switched to The Proctor Cars Stadium

Matlock Town’s FA Cup Preliminary Round tie with OJM Black Country Rangers will now be played at the Proctor Cars Stadium.

The Gladiators were originally drawn away to the West Midlands Regional League outfit but Rangers have issues concerning their ground and were looking to find an alternative venue.

After discussions between the two clubs on Friday the decision was taken to stage the tie at Matlock. Due to Covid 19 considerations, there will be a 600 crowd limit for this coming Saturday’s tie.

Details regarding ticketing and admission arrangements will be available shortly, with FA Rules stipulating that the Black Country outfit are entitled to 15% of the crowd allowed .

OJM Black Country Rangers beat league rivals Bewdley Town 5-1 in the last round, and their officials expect their supporters to take up all of their permitted allocation.

Kick off on Saturday is at 3 pm.
